Frequently asked questions
Plain answers about ordering, shipping, returns, the stones and the metals. If yours is not here, write to us and a jeweler replies within one working day.
Orders and payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
Every card the checkout shows, plus cash on delivery where it is offered at the address step. Card payments are processed by the payment provider; we never see or store the card number.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
Yes, until it leaves the workshop. Write to us with the order number from your confirmation email and we will change the size, the metal or the address, or cancel and refund the order in full.
Do you charge sales tax?
Tax is calculated at checkout from the shipping address and shown before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.
Does every piece come with a grading report?
Every diamond of 0.30 carat and above ships with its laboratory report, and the report number is printed on the invoice. Smaller stones are graded by our own bench and listed with the same four grades.
Shipping
How soon will my order ship?
Pieces in stock leave within two working days. Made-to-order pieces and resizes take the time shown on the product page, usually two to three weeks. You get a tracking email the moment the parcel is collected.
Is shipping insured, and do I need to sign for it?
Every parcel is insured for its full value until it is in your hands, and every parcel needs a signature. The carrier will not leave jewelry at the door.
Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?
Yes. Enter any address at the address step. For a first order over a certain value we may call to confirm before the parcel leaves.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet. The checkout accepts US addresses only; we will add countries as we are able to insure the parcel properly.
Returns and exchanges
What is the return window?
Thirty days from delivery for any unworn piece in its original condition, with the report and the box. Start a return from your order page and we email a prepaid, insured label.
Can I exchange for a different size or metal?
Yes, within the same thirty days. Exchanges ship free; if the new piece costs more or less we charge or refund the difference.
Which pieces cannot be returned?
Engraved pieces, custom designs, and eternity bands cut to a size. Each of those is marked on its product page before you buy.
When is the refund paid?
Within five working days of the piece reaching the workshop and passing inspection. The money goes back to the payment method you used.
Diamonds and metals
Are your diamonds lab-grown or mined?
Both, and every listing says which. The grading, the pricing logic and the guarantee are the same for both; our guide explains the differences that matter.
What do GH SI and DE VVS mean?
They are the color and clarity grades of the stones in a piece: GH SI is near-colorless and eye-clean, DE VVS is colorless and nearly flawless under a loupe. The four Cs guide walks through every grade with diagrams.
Which metals do you work in?
14k and 18k gold in white, yellow and rose, and platinum. Every piece is solid; nothing is plated except the rhodium finish that all white gold carries.
Is the gold recycled?
Our casting grain is certified recycled gold and platinum. We do not use newly mined metal.
Sizing and fit
How do I find my ring size?
Measure the inside diameter of a ring you already wear and read the US size from our ring size guide. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one for a wide band.
Can a ring be resized later?
Most rings can be moved up or down two sizes, and the first resize within a year is free. Eternity bands with stones all the way round cannot be resized.
What chain lengths do pendants come in?
Sixteen and eighteen inches as standard, with other lengths on request. The product page lists the lengths for each piece.
Care and repairs
How should I clean a diamond piece at home?
A ten-minute soak in warm water with a drop of dish soap, a soft toothbrush around the setting, then a rinse and a lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners on pieces with pavé.
What does the guarantee cover?
Any fault in the metal or the setting for the life of the piece, including a stone that loosens from a prong that failed. It does not cover loss, theft, or damage from a knock.
How do I send a piece in for repair?
Write to us with the order number and a photo. We email an insured label, inspect the piece on arrival and send a quote before any paid work starts. Cleaning and prong checks are free.
